QEMU on Wayland unusable, because it can’t grab the mouse … I’ll add it to my TODO list and investigate/report it eventually.
@quark@ferengi.one Ta. Hmm, what’s wrong with the blue text color? Is it too dark on the black background for you? :-?
Normal links are blue while images are teal. I thought I differentiate the two if I easily can. The underline of URLs comes from my terminal and is not tt’s fault.
Configuring colors is in the todo list. But of course, providing a sane default is definitely something I’d like to have.
I do think integrating things like Salty.im might actually be a good idea. I can also see a future where we integrate other things like todo.txt
and calendar.txt
. I’d even love to see decentralised forms of “plain text” voting too.
Yeah. It’s mostly a parser at the moment. But I have extended the calendar.txt to include todo.txt and a repeat syntax to generate future occurances of events and todos.
Instead of formal todo’s I have the option to create items in a plan in the morning that is valid for the coming day. Plans can be related to todo’s.
My todotxt done.txt file has over three years worth of stuff in it that I found important enough to put a todo in todotxt for.
Since I have these simple, yet effective bash shell commands, which allow me to edit notes, plans, todos and statuses from the terminal, I feel liberated from overly complex software - everything is just text files and applications which come preinstalled on every Linux system.

My website is very Piling. look at the todo list: https://niplav.github.io/todo.html! i can’t tell you much about how it will look like in a year, but i can tell you that it won’t shrink. it’s piling. everything is piling up, forgotten drafts, half-finished experiments, buggy code—fixed over time, sure, but much more slowly than the errors come rolling in. it’s an eternal struggle.
@movq@www.uninformativ.de was the request to remove the hash (subject) from showing on twts discarded? I don’t see it on the TODO, so I am curious. Was it something you decided was not worth investing time on?
@movq@www.uninformativ.de, is removing the hash from the body of the twt on the TODO? I read it, but I am unsure if it is there already, or not. 🙈 Sorry if it is, and I failed to spot it!
did I mention yet that gest has a TODO page now? !gest_TODO

a supplementary component to !zetdo called something like “due”, which schedules items in the TODO and dynamically creates schedules similar to org-agenda. #halfbaked
created !zetdo today, a small TODO app built on top of !zet. It seems like it could replace (or maybe enhance?) org-mode for some of my needs.

Checking out Todo.txt because it literally is all text files. But will probably still move back to TaskWarrior because I will miss annotations and other features.
