I put my mouse on my Mac on the right side for reasons. My Windows machine always has the mouse on the right. Wanted to go Back on my Mac and
pressed mouse4, just like I’d do on Windows. Muscle-memory prompts are
interesting.

@niplav@niplav.github.io I like it, but you probably shouldn’t take only my word for it. I suspect it’s piggybacking a lot off of how much I liked its SNES predecessor and know/like the vibe of * Mana games. Also, the last three JRPGs I’ve played were Dragon’s Dogma, NieR:Automata, and
Chrono Trigger. I don’t know what’s good and new in JRPGs ever since Square left Nintendo. I’m just glad they’re back.

That said, I wouldn’t buy orange-blossom water just to dump into my tea. It’s much more useful as a cheesecake-batter addition, but in order to draw it down in a timely fashion I’d have to bake two cheesecakes a week.

@niplav@niplav.github.io I wouldn’t disagree with your characterization of people who’re interested in radical life extension, but their messaging, generally, seems to not mention “adding life to your years” at all. “Live to be 150” doesn’t sound all that great if you’re going to have 15 years of being in your 80s, so to speak.

When you take stretch breaks every hour it’s a good idea to get up and step away from the keyboard. It is less obvious what you should do when the stretch-break notification comes and you’ve been using a standing desk the entire time.

@mdosch@mdosch.de Right. I can only last about 15–25 minutes in a 80°C sauna. An ambient temperature of 90°F (32°C) is also unpleasant, but not nearly as bad. I’ll use my iPad indoors when it’s 90°F during the peak of the heat of the day, but I wouldn’t want to take it into a 90°C sauna.

I brushed my hand against my laptop’s touchpad at the wrong time, in the wrong way, and moved some icon around in the Dock but didn’t catch which. I had to stare at the icons and try and figure out which one was out of place immediately because I hate having perma-pinned Dock icons in the wrong place

My USB power brick says to cycle the charge in it every so often, so I had it keep my iPad powered up away from any outlet. Fully drained it and plugged it in to a powered-off computer to recharge. Overnight, it’s only recharged
halfway. Didn’t expect the recharge to be this slow.

Imagine the world when we have old, gray-bearded Millenials managing old legacy JavaScript-based systems. They shall sing “Den-o! The last dinosaur
