the idea would be to build and share tiny 6.5 bit programs encoded as printable ascii characters. this could then in turn be read by a virtual computer to do things like paint a picture or compose a piece of music. #halfbakedideas

even though I have these nice hs7 studio monitors on my desk right now, most of my monitoring has been done using my minirig mini. There is just something so irresistable about writing music for something so cute and tiny.

You’d think that somebody writing for NME would know that ‘Daddy’s Car’ isn’t the first AI-written song. (Even if the earliest example they can think of is from Songsmith & they don’t recognize that Bach was doing generative music.)

Bad idea of the day: use those ear-mounted accelerometers that normally wake people who are dozing off at the wheel to instead redden the display, replace desktop background with surreal and dreamlike images, fade in quiet calming ambient music, raise the thermostat
