@ullarah@txt.quisquiliae.com is right, it’s optional. However the following features will not work:

• Password resets (via Email) – A Poderator can still manually reset a user’s password.
  
• Support and Report do not work (because those go to the Poderator via Email)
  

Otherwise, you’ll be fine 😅
