Make them earn it. if Google wants you to trust that they’ll be good stewards of the data they collect from golang, they can start by being good stewards of any other data they collect about people (which they’re not). They can, oh I don’t know, stop doing things like collecting location data even when you literally click a switch labelled “don’t collect location data”.
