So my work Macbook Pro M1 just died on me. And... It won't boot into recovery mode (because I think we've disabled that from the corporate mdm side) 😢 Looking likely that I'll have to order a new one... I saw signs of I/O error(s) before I rebooted it, which has me suspciious that the disk has died 😱
