@fastidious On GIF and potentially arbitrary media upload support... I agree we can do something about just accepting and uploading original quality media, which in itself would just magically™ fix/support GIFs too. 👌

There is also a real cost to allowing arbitrary media in original quality (up to the -U/--max-upload-size) and that cost comes to the end-user / viewer who may actually be paying for “Traffic” – I kid you not, we do this in Australia still today in #2021 – I wish I was making this up 🤦♂️
