I completely agree actually. I read their technical papers on this and their claims are kind of a bit stupid really. I don’t get it, why would you want to browse the web by asking someone else’s server farm to render the website for you, then send it back in some shitty form? 🤦‍♂️ This is not really protecting you at all from anything, what it is doing is allowing Puffin Browser to collect large swarths of data on their users and then abuse that data in weird and interesting ways.
