Nothing stops you from photocopying a physical book to give to many.

In fact I seem to recall Google did this and got in trouble for it, but they defended their position because they have deep pockets and won 🤦‍♂️ So yeah I agree with you, no matter which way you look at this, it’s fucking downright stupid.

There are actually people that want to pay (I think I made that very clear) for someone else’s hard work, but care about things like privacy and not having to fuck around with DRM garbage 🤦‍♂️
