@bender Interesting that it performed so poorly when your tried your own relay. How many clients were accessing it at once? Overall I'm definitely not sold on it yet, while I do like fiddling around with new protocol stuff I am also very wary of the crypto-libertarian ethos that is driving the Nostr project.

Messages are signed with a keypair to verify who they came from. But there’s no blockchain strategy in use for them.
