@eapl.mx@eapl.mx Glad to hear you are using (my) phpub2twtxt
@prologic@twtxt.net yes I also made something like that once way way backš
@prologic@twtxt.net Yes I have tried to have the avatar in the top right in an earlier design, but it still needs some work - especially on mobile (not shown)
@prologic@twtxt.net Would it make more sense to put it under Settings? I think it is a waste of space to have a dedicated icon in the topnav for something that most people would not be using on a daily basis.
@prologic@twtxt.net you are welcome š
@prologic@twtxt.net nice š¦
@bender@twtxt.net great, glad to hear. Then @prologic@twtxt.net just needs to merge the pr and update his pod for bender to be a happy š¤
Better fix for safari/ios overflow Ā· c283a91f07 - yarn - Mills
(maybe) fixed the overflow issue on safari Ā· f1d4b6a0f2 - yarn - Mills
It live on neotxt.dk so i will open up for registation today, if anyone with an iOS want to test it
@bender@twtxt.net and @prologic@twtxt.net what version of Safari are you guys using?
On my MacBook im stuck on Safarie 15, but in Safari 16overflow-clip
is supported and sounds like something that could fix the unwanted horizontal scrolling issue: https://kilianvalkhof.com/2022/css-html/do-you-know-about-overflow-clip/
@prologic@twtxt.net will bebther shortly. Just need my ā and breakfast
This is also how I mosty been working with all the UI design I have been doing for yarn social
.tabs .tab
classes are applied to a <div>
on āSettings". That padding is pushing the <article>
tabs. What do you use for content creation, Microsoft Windows?
@bender@twtxt.net what do you mean with ācontent creationā ?
@bender@twtxt.net you did not. i just didnāt notice it was not the same tread.
@bender@twtxt.net ah okay, so nothing to do with the horizontal scroll. Thanks for notices and bringing to attention
@bender@twtxt.net .tabs .tab
are not appied to <article id>
or <article id>
so i still dont āseeā the issue.
please provide screenshot with comments. Preferably as an issue on the gitea for yarnd
@bender@twtxt.net please provide screenshot with comments. Preferably as an issue on the gitea for yarnd
@bender@twtxt.net then you will need to make a test account or wait for someone with their own pod to test it
@eaplmx@twtxt.net neotxt.dk is already running the profile2 branch. You can only switch the branch if you are the admin of a pod. You can spin up a test pod, but that is a lot of work just for testing this, if you have never done it before.
@eaplmx@twtxt.net but on twtxt.net right? Try on my pod or the profile2
branch
@bender@twtxt.net I donāt have any issue on my android phone in chrome or jQuakes browser from f-doird that I use daily.
@bender@twtxt.net it might be fixed on the CSS from the new profile2 so take that for a spin and report back
@bender@twtxt.net I donāt own a iOS device so canāt test thisā¦
@prologic@twtxt.net also you mentioned my old account
Hmm no idea what that is. It not just the native features of iOS safari? Do you get it on other sites as well?
@prologic@twtxt.net we might, but for now the front-page explains is pretty good
@prologic@twtxt.net one of the latest commit made it link to yarn social, but I have not update the version running on neotxt.dk yet
@prologic@twtxt.net I tried to write something about platform and protocols before (https://blog.neotxt.dk/protocols-not-platforms) by the word ecosystem mig be s better fit because it sound less technical
@eaplmx@twtxt.net thanks, yeah I at least want to make the text white in the buttons. But these colours have nothing to do with the new profile. You can change them under settings/poderator if are an admin
[eapl.me](https://eapl.me)
is not being converted from MD into an HTML link š¤
@eaplmx@twtxt.net yeah that have never been a featureā¦not my fault š you need to use the add link under settings
PR ready: #1116 - WIP: New profile view with media filter
Still some issues with the filters on profile pages, but otherwise it should be ready and it already live on https://neotxt.dk/user/darch/
@xuu@txt.sour.is yes I had too. The fix was to delete all the cockies for the pod(s) you have been logged. I think I started when I was running my own local Dev pod and the the bowser get the cookies mixed up between the pods
mediaonly
filter š Example of my pod:
I didāt ādoā much beside keep nagging about getting someone else to code the feature ;)
@prologic@twtxt.net Signed up to be a supporter now
@prologic@twtxt.net a UI to see all the users on your pod and info about last seen an number of post should be enough to do a manual seek and destroy once in a wild.
@prologic@twtxt.net Will try to join the call at 12 UTC
@bender@twtxt.net be careful what you wish for š¤
Other see multiple posts from @kevin? I guess it might have something to do with the 3 different url =
field in his twtxt file
@abucci@anthony.buc.ci go take a look at kdx.re
@jlj@twt.nfld.uk Iām 36 so we could have been the same age today, but I first learn about him from the movie The internetās own boy
@kdx@kdx.re nice avatar and welcome to the twtxtery/yarniverse
@abucci@anthony.buc.ci because that guy ālearnedā some āaweome css-hacksāā¦
Webdesign gone wrong: http://www.gerd-neugebauer.de/software/TeX/BibTool/
@prologic@twtxt.net I can live with that. And itās also more in line with the āprivacy-first focusā of yarn.social.
@prologic@twtxt.net so will you still be able to see who follows you? But other users/guests will not be able to see a followers list fo other user besides themselves?
@support@twtxt.net Should these mentions be public like this? also that is gonna create a lot of noise/spam
