#RaceWhoKnowsJosephBookClub is the (lengthy hashtag for the) year long celebration of LM Montgomeryās 150th birthday. #Februaryās book for it is āAnne Of Avonleaā, and this anniversary a good excuse to make me read the full #Anne series š
The #RaceWhoKnowsJosephBookClub book for #March is āAnne of the Islandā, the third book of the āAnne of Green Gablesā series, and one that was written in less of a rush than the second.
So far, it is being better than the second but still less good than the first. While the second is forgettable, this one develops significantly Anneās life, and was the basis for many adaptations (which tended to skip all that comes from the second book). Letās see if my opinion of it doesnāt change before I reach the end of if š
Oh, and as it happens, being a āmiddle gradeā book makes it eligible for #MiddleGradeMarch!
The #RaceWhoKnowsJosephBookClub book for #April and the 5th in the Anne of Green Gables novels is āAnneās House of Dreamsā, my choice for #FridayReads . It also fits quite perfectly to the monthly prompt for #nature.
