Oh boy, I'm looking for trapezoidal (like ACME thread) screws and nuts in left hand form. The rods are already expensive, but nuts feel like a total ripoff. A hex nut for Tr20x2 being 30mm long and 30mm in "diameter" costs me 22 bucks! O_o Just a single one, made of regular steel. A meter of rod is 21€. The more common Tr20x4 hex nut is just 7€ and the rod 17€, but 4mm pitch is a bit much for a leadscrew for semi-precision work I reckon.

@prologic@twtxt.net Regarding the new way of generating twt-hashes, to me it makes more sense to use tabs as separator instead of spaces, since the you can just copy/past a line directly from a twtxt-file that already go a tab between timestamp and message. But tabs might be hard to “type” when you are in a terminal, since it will activate autocomplete…🤔
Another thing, it seems that you sugget we only use the domain in the hash-creation and not the full path to the twtxt.txt

Been a crazy day, walked the dog 5km, came home, took over a meter of snow off veranda, helped 2 cars that was stuck on our street, helped neighbour showeling the snow to get his car in, then dug out our car (just in case we need it), and then had to walk to the store (2km) and back because you cant get car out from our street tonight. So for the rest of the evening Im not doing nothing. Haha
They closed svhools tomorrow as well because of the chaos.
I would love to be able to time travel back to the days when Talking Heads toured and witness one of their epic live concerts.

We had been having a cold go around with the kiddos for about a week when the wife started getting sicker than normal. Did a test and she was positive. We tested the rest of the fam and got nothing. Till about 2 days later and myself and the others were positive. It largely hasn’t been too bad a little feaver and stuffy noses.
But whatever it was that hit a few days ago was horrible. Like whatever switch in my head that goes to sleep mode was shut off. I would lay down and even though I felt sleepy, I couldn’t actually go to sleep. The anxiety hit soon after and I was just awake with no relief. And it persisted that way for three nights. I got some meds from the clinic that seemed to finally get me to sleep.
Now the morning after I realized for all that time a part of me was missing. I would close my eyes and it would just go dark. No imagination, no pictures, nothing. Normally I can visualize things as I read or think about stuff.. But for the last few days it was just nothing. The waking up to it was quite shocking.
Though its just the first night.. I guess I’ll have to see if it persists. 🤞

I went to bed at 8 and woke up full on anxiety attack at 12 and could not calm my head until around 7 am. Today has sucked a lot.
So.. Of y’all that had covid. Did you have at the end a night where for no reason your brain amped up to 11 and can’t sleep at all? It happened to me last night and my FIL the night before.

I have not been feeling good the past two days, caught a cold. So yesterday I was very lazy, luckily the kids where busy with their things, and Marlyn took Nanook to the dogpark to let him blow off some steam. Today I feel much better, so I headed out early for a 5km walk in the forest with the dog before everyone got up this morning. When I came home my daughter went to her friends house, so she will probably be gone for the rest of the day, and my son is playing games with his friends. Its still raining a lot here, but I managed to do to the walk in between the rain. Now Im working some more on the laptop I installed OpenBSD on this weekend. Getting more stuff set up on it.

Heading off to the dog park tonight, will be nice for our dog to run as much as he likes! It’s a plot of forest that’s fenced in, and it’s big enough for you to do some walking there as well and train on recall and all that good stuff.
I bought myself a Tilley LTM6 hat. It was expensive and still feels a bit strange to wear because nobody wears hats here. Trying to wrap my head around webfinger..
my first thoughts about it were that a subject of acct:me@sour.is would have a listing of rel’s for the different accounts that are related to me (ie. yarn, salty, twitter, mastodon, etc…)
but maybe my thinking is at the wrong level.. that each of those accounts would be on a subject level and the rels are describing different aspects of that account. so i would have salty:acct:xuu@sour.is, twitter:acct:xuu, mastodon:acct:xuu@chaos.social, yarn:acct:xuu@ev.sour.is and then i could have a main acct:me@sour.is that links them together as aliases.
I found okta will do something similar with its accounts to show as okta:acct:user@domain so maybe I am on to something?
