@fab@foobucket.xyz I’ve noticed that podman isn’t (or at least wasn’t a year or so ago when I checked) available on Raspbian/Raspberry Pi OS. I didn’t know Alpine is available for the RPi. Is it good?

For sure. The pi progresses normally until it prints that it’s initializing the keyboard, at which point the keyboard spends ~30 seconds beeping.

I keep going back ‘n’ forth on whether to experiment with Pleroma on my Pi. :-) A Tildes post on the sad news that Feneas is struggling has rekindled the fire, oddly. I just like knowing, first-hand, what’s involved in running these services; I feel it makes me a better yarn.social advocate. ^⨰^

Thanks to a pointer from Richard Miller, got screen rotation working on my Pi 4s. Makes this absurdly wide display more practical.
@prologic@twtxt.net I don’t automate anything but I have sensors in every room to warn me if the humidity is too high and one in the fridge to warn if it’s too warm/cold via xmpp message. It’s working pretty well and was not expensive. I have fhem running on a raspberry pi which also serves other services.
