In June, we experienced two incidents that resulted in degraded performance across GitHub services. June 7 16:11 UTC (lasting 2 hours 28 minutes) On June 7 at 16:11 UTC, GitHub started experiencing increasing delays in an internal job queue used to process Git pushes. Our monitoring systems alerted our first responders after 19 minutes. During […] ⌘ Read more

If you regularly work remotely (away from home and the office), a portable monitor is one of the best investments you can make. Ignite Realtime Blog: Openfire Monitoring Service plugin 2.4.0 release
Earlier today, we have released version 2.4.0 of the Openfire Monitoring Service plugin. This plugin adds both statistics, as well as message archiving functionality to Openfire.

@movq@uninformativ.de Do you know how I would find people that reply to my posts or replies or even mention my users? Prologic tried to contact me and unless I found him on the yarn pod then I would not know he exists and wants to talk to me. The user agents would work but I don’t know if I can view my web server logs from codeberg pages and I don’t know how to monitor my logs for mentions. What about the way yarn does it by added people you follow to your twtxt file and having friends of friends like yarn does it be a thing for jenny. Just an idea
content="width=device-width" to your viewport meta tag will help massively with scaling on different device widths.
Thanks for the feedback! This site was designed to look perfect on good old 800x600 monitors (I even left a comment next to the meta tag). Maybe I’ll add a mobile-friendly version someday :-) P.S. Nice try with SQL injection, haha. Do you have any plans for XSS attacks? :D
@prologic@twtxt.net: 1. I use classic twtxt client written in Python from console, I like simplicity; 2. Thanks for the feedback about my website! It’s better viewed with old 800x600 monitors, haha

“What are robot dogs actually being used for?”
Many people have seen the videos of Boston Dynamics with their robots. While watching the videos, I always wondered what the possible use cases for such robots (dogs) are? Just millitary? But now Tom Scott clarifies it with a new video: Hydroelectric power plant inspection for example! With the robots it is cheaper and easier to monitor the power plants centrally. ⌘ Read more

There is now a nice monitoring service for #XMPP service operators: https://observe.jabber.network/ (Thanks jonas´)
30 minutes of scrubbing and washing later, my monitor’s solid-color background looks solid-colored.
I moved all windows off my second monitor and…it just looks so peaceful. Nothing on it but a zoomed-in picture of a sand dune with a very dim menu bar on top.
even though I have these nice hs7 studio monitors on my desk right now, most of my monitoring has been done using my minirig mini. There is just something so irresistable about writing music for something so cute and tiny.
Oh wow, guess Photoshop can really tax your monitor.
“quiet operation” is something people have to ask for on a fancy monitor?
Using Visual Studio Code in fullscreen on my main monitor while looking at other things on the other monitor. I did not expect to turn into one of John Siracusa’s millenial co-workers.
