@screem@twtxt.net For the Mobile App I have visions of filters being accessible via a swipe from right to left. Right now swifting from left to right brings up navigation.
@movq@www.uninformativ.de Very cool! π
@screem@twtxt.net This looks great! π
Letβs try this again, Hey @david@collantes.social π
Hello @david π
@screem@twtxt.net Yeah Iβm hearing ya π’
@shreyan@me.shreyanjain.net Welcome! π€
@shreyan@me.shreyanjain.net I donβt even know what client youβre using, but whatever, itβs cool. This is whatβs so brilliant about the Yarn.social / Twtxt ecosystem, it doesnβt matter what client you use π
@shreyan@me.shreyanjain.net Hello! π Welcome to Yarn.social ! π₯³
@shreyan@twtxt.net Love the Avatar π
@shreyan@twtxt.net Hello! π A real human! Whoohoo π₯³ Welcome to Yarn.social π€
Anyone wanting to get together today and have a Yarn over a video call? π€
@screem@twtxt.net Oh nice! π Renting or Buying? π€
@marado@twtxt.net And look maybe the defaults currently are actually fine π€ βExperuences are telling me now though that busier pods like mine probably warrant smaller per feed size and TTL
@abucci@anthony.buc.ci Agreed Iβll try to write this up tomorrow π Sorta tried to just now βοΈ
@abucci@anthony.buc.ci is right. And so is @bender@twtxt.net β This is designed to constrain resources for running a pod, and to reduce cognitive overload (infinitely scrolling through all the shit we say) and to mimic more real life conversations (we donβt remember things we said years ago, nor do we really want to be held by them, we might have changed our views)
I feel like this question comes up every now and again that it might be worth adding to the FAQ
@stigatle@twtxt.net Looks like a desent start π Canβt tell whether it supports ECC Memory? π€
@xuu Yeah well having more than 65k functions in your lookup table for an object is actually insane and a code smell π€£
@screem@yarn.yarnpods.com Cool! I made a diagram of my network recently. would love to share it with you and see if you have any thoughts on improving π
@nopnopfran@twtxt.net Welcome! π€
@nopnopfran@twtxt.net Hello! π
@marado@twtxt.net Yes. And yea it is configurable. By default 150 Twts per feed and 10 days TTL. Iβm actually thinking of making the default smaller π
@stigatle@twtxt.net Got an early screenshot? π€
@stigatle@twtxt.net Ahh I see π
@stigatle@twtxt.net Whatβs real-time 3D ? A work project? π€
As long as the commute isnβt insanely long π€
@stigatle@twtxt.net Good Evening! π Just finishes work and sitting down to have a π»
@abucci@anthony.buc.ci LOL that was suppose to be inconsiderate π€¦ββοΈ
@slashdot@feeds.twtxt.net Some interestinf comments in this one πSome complete BS and others π― spot on π
I did one will never again work in an office environment and suffer the inevitable long commute times and waste money buying lunch and coffee or risk catching an illness because most people are illness pricks.
@darch@neotxt.dk Tou would input @aral@mastodon.social
This is the GraphQL compiler complaining right? π€
@stigatle@twtxt.net Hmmm kind of weird really π€ I guess most things in Rust are immutable?
@stigatle@twtxt.net good evening π
why do companies these days feel that they have the right to basically spy on your every day your every move your every behavior at your every thought I mean fucking hell π€¦ββοΈ
@eldersnake@yarn.andrewjvpowell.com at which point my response to that company would be too bad so sad, in the old days of broadcast television thatβs all you got.
@screem@yarn.yarnpods.com Thanks for the insight π
This is insane π±
@axodys@octobloc.xyz Nice one π Got any pics? Of the snow that is π€
@slashdot@feeds.twtxt.net what the actual fuck is wrong with the media industry seriously?! π± isnβt this basically the same as a consumers right to choose which television and antenna to install in their home? π€¦ββοΈ
@lyse@lyse.isobeef.org Thanks! π
@slashdot@feeds.twtxt.net And just like that the crypto hype and nonsense is over π
@stigatle@twtxt.net Same π Finding it hard these days to work on project, progress is slow but steady π€£
@lyse@lyse.isobeef.org Yeah it is I think! π€£ And actually @abucci@anthony.buc.ci I figured out whatβs going onβ¦ It not that my password or a session was compromised. My account is under attack. Someone is trying to hack it (albeit badly) by hitting the password reset form and entering my email address. So what the attackers have is a) My LinkedIn account and b) My email address. Or this is a widespread attack to break into accounts and reset passwords? Butβ¦ How dafuq does this attack work when you have to have access to the email account as well to get the password reset pin?! π³
@jlj@twt.nfld.uk Thanks! π
@movq@www.uninformativ.de Bahahaha, those silly Brits, seriously π€¦ββοΈ
@abucci@anthony.buc.ci No other types of auth are linked. 2FA protected me in this case. No other sessions anywhere. The attempted login was from Oregon, US. So π€·ββοΈ Really weird, I mean, what else do you think _might- have happened here? π€
Anyway, generally speaking itβs a good reminder to go audit your password database
@abucci@anthony.buc.ci @bender@twtxt.net just asked that very question on IRC π€£ Nope I didnβt leave a session open anywhere on any devices I donβt control or actively use. No the password is not reused anywhere. It is pretty damn strong (or was).
