@mckinley@twtxt.net It pains me also, I typically used my PeerCalls instance – However it often doesn’t work for some folks 😢 I need to figure out why and try to either fix bugs upstream or fix my configuration 🤞

There was another Browser-browsered (no server) Wrb RTC thingy that someone shared here on Yarn.social but I seem to have not bookmarked it 😢

I don’t like jitsi, and will never stand one up in my infra because it’s written in Java™ and will likely eat resources like a sieve (although admittedly I did not test this, but I’m not going to either). Call me strongly opinionated and stubborn, but I’m going to insist that my Peer calls instance’s issues be understood and resolved.

@mutefall@twtxt.net Well I had another successful video call with my meet.mills.io instance last night with a Chris Waldan – a maintainer of many nice and useful GIOUI libraries and packages. If you recall we’re considering rewriting the Salty IM reference client/app Salty Chat in it.

I really need to with down with both @ullarah@txt.quisquiliae.com and yourself to work out why my Peer Calls instance fails with you and see if it can be resolved.
