blocking wikipedia
Wikiless has it covered. :)
@mckinley@twtxt.net This looks pretty awesome! But it’s only a frontend/proxy right?
What I’ve always wanted to do for years now is self-hosted my own “copy” of Wikipedia (at least in English) in its entirety. And occasionally sync changes upstream back down. I’ve looked at a few solutions, but I’ve never found anything I really like.
@mckinley@twtxt.net @prologic@twtxt.net Mills are you ready for “33,997,900,893 bytes”
@will@twtxt.net I have no problems hosting 33GB of data and serving it up in some “sane” way 😅
@ullarah@txt.quisquiliae.com Please link me directly to both. I want to download ‘em both 😅 I found some code I might be able to use.
@ullarah@txt.quisquiliae.com Hmmmm this is very interesting indeed…. I’ve not come across this before… Hmmmm 🤔
