@deebs@twtxt.net will have to look into this MobileCoin thing to get a gauge on whether its potentially malicious or just plain annoying, but thankfully there’s well known forks of Signal if worst comes to the worst that strip out unnecessary stuff.

since it’s open source and accepts donations from its users I’m pretty confident we can probably sway them right? 🙃
