I keep around a web browser that has no ad blockers installed for the rare cases that I need it. Today, I accidentally used it to do a web search and visit a link, and holy dear God what has the web become???

@movq@uninformativ.de I wish it did, but sadly no. I’ve so far not found a good way to deal with those cookie popups.

Well, that’s the Web 2.9, 3.0 or whatever the current version is. Some pages are quite pleasant to use, but I agree, it’s a whole different experience with an ad blocker and without.
