I’ve signed this petition even though I’m not an EU citizen (I feel like I should be!) and I’ve chipped in $40 to get 1,000 views of this petition (hopefully) 👌 I find it disgusting as hell that even the EU would stoop this low and errode at our basic human rights to basic privacy and choice. If you know there was a law that forced every communications provider to snoop on your every message, email, whatever, would you even bother using the Internet at that point?! May as well go back to snail mail, at least the postman doesn’t open your fucking letter to your grandma? (or do they? 🤔)
