if you are not in a “central country” you are screwed. I thought it would be a good idea to promote a LiberaPay page to build some patronage to my free/open projects, but in Brazil LiberaPay can only handle PayPal and it integrates poorly, it doesn’t accept Reais! If you try a direct PayPal donation button it works much better: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=5B4MZ78C9J724 … this is so frustrating.

Ah, the Ciberlandia people are on a Mastodon bridge. I thought we got rid of that.

@mckinley@twtxt.net you can’t even block/mute them. For those, like me, that use the “Discover” to see what’s up, that is a little bit problematic. I live with it, though. :-)

@bender@twtxt.net I also use the Discover tab and I do wish I could mute some of them that only post in Portugese. I just didn’t know they were on Mastodon.

@prologic@twtxt.net I don’t know what the fix will be. Ideally, since it doesn’t work for bidirectional communication, get rid of the Fediverse integration? Would that stop those posts from showing up?

@bender@twtxt.net These are not beinged pull via ActivityPub. I disabled the integration long ago myself on my pod. There is a Mastodon instance or two out there that serves up Twtxt feeds. Someone my pod has subscribed to those, I think that’s what’s happening here…
