Well, for async content it’s better using hi (or maybe avoiding any greeting, we said hi before…).
For a real time channel, perhaps, using good morning means, “hey guys, I’m just starting my day over here”
@lyse@lyse.isobeef.org because the day could mean 24 hours, or the period when you have light…
