@observer@twtxt.net Okay I will try my best, hope you will keep an open mind.
Before we talk about bitcoin we need a reason. Because if everything is working then we don’t need to change. Therefore I urge you to look at my first point if you haven’t. And keys talk about that. I uploaded a chard from the FED. See post (#kiiv3bq)

@tamer@twtxt.net governments often do whatever it takes to balance out the economy of countries. There is a couple of things to consider on the graph, on the page you linked (for which I haven’t done a research on accuracy yet, but let’s assume it is correct). If you expand the graph you will see shaded areas on it, that denote US recessions. Also read the notes, specifically “Beginning May 2020”, to see what’s included on that graph, and the reason for the peak.

I am not understanding one thing, though. We do you see on that graph? What do you think it represents?

@tamer@twtxt.net also, as you mentioned M2, there is some reading on that one as well. Nevertheless, where are you heading with this? Are you trying to prove that cryptocurrency is better than paper money, is that it? Not convincing me, so I will take your dollars, you keep your crypto. 😂

@tamer@twtxt.net isn’t that what all governments do? I want to think that sitting above us all, financially smart people—at least, much more smarter than me—who went to school, and studied these things, are making decisions that will not screw them, nor us. What approach would you take? What would your solution be?

I really don’t understand what the obsession over inflation is really all about. Who cares about inflation and “monetary” value anyway? I personally (and this is just my opinion and way of live) don’t view the world, value or wealth in terms of “money”. I view it in terms of “time” and “resources”. For example:

How much time and effort till doing X take me?

Or:

How much can I devote my time today to X?

Or:

Do I have too much of Y and can I give some it if back?

If you stop thinking and worrying about “money” and “currency” and start worrying more about things that actually matter, like; how much time do I have left? what kind of life will my kids have in future? wil there be enough oxygen on this planet to breath? Are we consuming too many resources and not doing enough to put them back? What have I done today to help others around me? I could go on…

Point is, I literally don’t give two fucks about inflation or currency. I care more about time and effort. You work hard to increase time and energy you can spend on more important things.
