Once again I have so many browser tabs open that I can’t click any of them because they’re too small to accurately hit.
@abucci@anthony.buc.ci Haha 🤣 My browser looks like this most of the time 😅
@prologic@twtxt.net are you using gmail?
@darch@neotxt.dk Google Apps actually, grandfathered domain/account. I also have my own mail server too. Slowly getting off of Google Apps – But its a long process, so much of my public persona uses that email address.
@abucci@anthony.buc.ci It is indeed, one of a few PHP things I run 😅 – To be replaced one day, when I either build the replacement or someone else does 😅 alps — sourcehut todois close, but not quite 👌
Sorry bad link, this is better: alps: Alps Webmail
I don’t understand why, in the 12+ years since tabs became de rigeur, nobody figured out a better UI than a tab bar 🤨
@abucci@anthony.buc.ci Have you tried to group them ?
I group my tabs in Safari and then never see or think about them again 😆
@will@twtxt.net tabs in the browser have at least 20 years IMO (with Opera)
And in random thoughts, I was watching in the afternoon the history of the Windows Taskbar (in 1995) and the first approach was a tabbed interface. Very interesting
I’d like to have something like Omnisearch like having a list with fuzzy search, and those pages not being used in more than, let’s say 1 hour, should be archived.
something like Browsing history + Tabs
My biggest complaint with the web in general is often I’m looking for 100 bytes of information but to get it I have to load a spyware application suite pretending to be a html doc
@will@twtxt.net I think I use a different version of the Web, those adblockers and anti-spywares are wonderful.
And I’m posting this on the Web, so…
