Seriously with so many Youtubers having “sponsors” on their programs, Google™ and Youtube™ can literally go get f**ked 🤣 Take a cut of the sponsors, don’t shove ads down my throat, then expect me to pay $15/month for just so I don’t see ads but you still track the shit out of me?! 🤯
@movq@www.uninformativ.de Looks like it’s doing this across the board and cracking down on ad blockers. A shame really. Ads really don’t make for a good experience at all, I never mind watching “sponsored” pieces and never skip over those.

@prologic@twtxt.net They can’t win unless they do it cryptographically, i.e. with real DRM. Even then, I think it’s still easy enough to extract a Widevine L3 key from an Android phone.
One of my main problems is I haven’t found a YouTube frontend I’m happy with 😢
@prologic@twtxt.net I have seen these screen shots. But have not yet seen them in actuality. I use ublockOrigin. Maybe it gets these too unlike adblock.
For android I have revanced.. The only place I get ads is on TV. I haven’t found a replacement there.
