“Invasion” series on Apple TV+ is pretty good. I am hooked! It remains me not to follow ratings verbatim.

@prologic@twtxt.net You used to be able to (probably still works) VPN to some poor country and get these services cheaper. Family sharing can also save a lot. But considering a lot of these services are not even available in my country without a VPN to begin with and using one might go against their terms of service, while watching it from one of those free online pirate streaming sites is perfectly legal here, with how little I watch and the fact I watch stuff from all of them when I have the time, at this point I just find it far more convenient to use the pirate sites, especially when you have pirate sites that actually have stuff from almost all those services, so they made piracy more convenient than paying. 😂

@fastidious@twtxt.net Well I don’t even have a 4K monitor, so I’m happy if it’s 720p or above.
The the good piracy sites like https://www2.zoechip.com stream from servers where the majority of the content is stored in HD.
I’m not saying I encourage you to switch to using it, but you’d be surprised how many things I was unable to find anywhere else they have, like stuff from Apple TV or just the old stuff the streaming services don’t have the rights to stream anymore. 🙂
