In-reply-to » On our last forest hike two days ago my camera dropped out of my jacket pocket in its bag on a gravel path. When I wanted to take a photo and zoom in, I immediately got a lense fault. Trying to move out the lense a millimeter made some very bad grinding noises. It couldn't go any further and the camera shut down. I stuffed it back in its bag and tried again later. Luckily, it then worked flawlessly. Like nothing had ever happened to it. So I was able to capture this working woodpecker. In fact there were at least two others around, too. But we could only see this one here:
