Also @fastidious@arrakis.netbros.com โ There is no reason whatsoever we canโt release yarnd v1.0
now. We are not making any backwards incompatible changes whatsoever, and in fact I donโt really like building software that breaks the world anyway (I try really hard. not to). So we can release v1 โ Maybe as a #2021 Xmas present to us all ๐
Sorry I couldnโt be bothered finding the Twt and replying to that Yarn ๐
@fastidious@arrakis.netbros.com What did you mean them? ๐ค I think youโre missing my point also ๐
Issues will always exist at one time or anotherโฆ
My point is that; since we use semantic versioning and โmaster is greenโ models, there is no reason not to release v1 ๐
From IRC:
[10:02:05] Quark coughs softly.
[10:03:18] Quark taps the mike. "Hello" (hello echoes) "Testing, 1, 2, 3" (screeching feedback is heard).
[10:27:20] <prologic> Hello!
[10:27:21] <prologic> :D
[10:27:28] prologic pretending to do work here
[10:27:29] <prologic> ;)
[10:27:36] <Quark> :-)
[10:29:33] <Quark> For v1.0, it would be nice to have the inject working, and perhaps the new timeline, and some UI/UX refinaments, maybe? Of course, nothing is holding off that slight bump, anyway.
[10:30:12] <prologic> I agree
[10:30:18] <prologic> And if that's what we want to do then let's do it
[10:30:22] <prologic> We can create a v1 milestone
[10:30:30] <prologic> And come up with a list of things we want to see before we do a v1 release
[10:30:39] <prologic> I'm fine with that, in fact that's a good thing ๐
