I know that people like to say “persistence is key”, but my neighbor is stilling practicing “Für Elise” – and still stuck at the first few bars.
I mean, I get it. I, myself, still struggle with the bass line of “White Rabbit” and I started learning that shortly after they started learning “Für Elise”. 🤣 But at some point, come on, move on! It isn’t fun if you’re stuck like that, is it?
@movq@www.uninformativ.de How bad are they really? 🤔😆
@movq@www.uninformativ.de Oh you mean they get frustrated after a bit of “practising”? 😅 And can’t make it past those first few bars? 🤣 Oops 🤫
@movq@www.uninformativ.de these few first notes are mythical but it’s not an easy song, starting about the 0:50 mark

I guess I never mastered the whole song, but anyone knows how to play the first 9 notes
and eventually you want to play crazy tunes like https://youtu.be/32YX6qhTGi8
and no, it’s not so easy at is sounds in the first few seconds… Damn Bethoven 🎼🎶🎵
@prologic@twtxt.net @movq@www.uninformativ.de I lived the first ten years of my life in an apartment, the upstairs neighbors had a piano, the only music played there, at least once a day every day, was Für Elise. She didn’t master the song before I moved, but I think of this every time I hear the song.
@eaplmx@twtxt.net @movq@www.uninformativ.de ask me again in an year 🙊
