@prologic@twtxt.net I would never ever mix up private and work stuff like that.
What do you mean? 🤔
@lyse@lyse.isobeef.org For passwords I have KeePass and I use it to store some passwords for some accounts. Like this one here. But as everything goes through a proxy, I would never do anything like online banking or sth related to health, money or others. Also, work is work and private is private. It is bad enough and a shame that I have to use my private hardware for Zoom conferences. /Hello Proxy :-)
@lyse@lyse.isobeef.org I like to have separate devices for each activity. That way a can switch more easily of context and stop working when I should be doing something else
That said, currently I only have a single ‘decent’ laptop PC that I use for everything… At least I have 2 phones, one for work, and another for personal life 🤔
P.D. Don’t have a work computer where you eat, you sleep or you have leisure time.
@lyse@lyse.isobeef.org Ahh no no other way around. I need access to certain credential that belong to my public facing persona. Like GitHub.
Oyherwise I never mix work and personal ever 😆 I’m not even contactable via work comms outside of business hours because I never install work comms apps on my personal phone 😅 (e.g: Slack or Teams Apps. no thank you! 🤦♂️)
@prologic@twtxt.net I have to be reachable during my personal time for work stuff. So I feel no guilt or shame in being reachable during my work time for personal stuff. It’s a balance still.
@ocdtrekkie@twtxt.net Fair and to be fair I’m reachable just not via “work” accepted comms methods because well I don’t like mixing work and personal “things” 😅
